In particular, workers in these two, traditionally eparate fields now realise that they have mutual interests and that there is much to be gained by tudying the literature and techniques of the other field. One offshoot of this research into the elationship between cognitive and psychometric variables has been a renewal of interest in the ature of intelligence.
